Former Everton manager Roberto Martinez has been appointed as Belgium's new head coach.
Martinez's appointment was announced on the official Twitter account of the Belgian Football Association on Wednesday night.
He will succeed Marc Wilmots, who was dismissed after Belgium lost to Wales in the Euro 2016 quarter-finals.
The 43-year-old Spaniard has been out of work since he was sacked by Everton in May after three years at Goodison Park.
He has no experience of managing an international team but also managed Swansea City and Wigan Athletic, who he led to victory in the FA Cup in 2013.
