Soccer: Goals from Keith Ward and Mark Quigley in the space four first half minutes saw Dundalk past Drogheda United in their FAI Cup fourth round replay at Oriel Park.

The homeside got some reward for some sustained pressure when Ward hit the net in the 25th minute and Quigley buried Ross Gaynor's corner soon after the restart to double the advantage.

The striker did his bit at the other end too when he made a goal-line clearance from Alan McNally's effort 20 minutes from time and it was jus as well because Drogs grabbed late consolation through Jordan White.

Dundalk will meet Bohemians in the quarter-final.
