Wigan Athletic 4 Man City 0:Hapless Manchester City were booed off by their own fans after collapsing to a miserable 4-0 defeat at Wigan.

The Blues never recovered after going two goals down inside the opening four minutes, with Richard Dunne scoring an own goal after Emile Heskey had put Wigan ahead after 67 seconds.

Their misery was completed in three second-half minutes as Henri Camara and Antonio Valencia doubled the Latics' advantage to leave City still boasting just a single away win in 2006.

Heskey connected fired a shot across the face of the Nicky Waever's goal after an Emmerson Boyce cross with just a minute played, but worse was to follow for City, and their captain was the culprit.

Less than three minutes after Heskey's strike Richard Dunne inexplicably headed into his own net from Josip Skoko's free-kick.

Temperamental Henri Camara punished defensive indecision by City in the second half when he nipped in front of Stephen Jordan to toe-poke past Weaver.

New signing Antonio Valencia made it four two minutes later, after Heskey's bal found him in enough space to pick his spot in the bottom corner.

City now have just five points from the 15 Premiership away games since the 4-3 at the JJB Stadium on Boxing Day last year.
