SPL review:Celtic moved eight points clear at the top of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League thanks to a clinical 3-0 win over 10-man Aberdeen at Pittodrie.

The hosts made a disastrous start when Andrew Considine was shown a red card for a foul on Scott Brown in the box inside two minutes. Jamie Langfield came to the rescue for the Dons as he guessed correctly to prevent Anthony Stokes converting from the penalty spot.

However Gary Hooper broke the deadlock after 12 minutes, before Mark Wilson's near-post header after 75 minutes and Stokes' low shot three minutes later ensured Celtic celebrated their third victory the Dons in the space of 11 days.

A superb double from teenage striker Stevie May earned St Johnstonea deserved 2-0 home victory and left Hamiltonrooted to the foot of the table.

The impressive 18-year-old struck early in both halves to secure his first SPL goals and move the McDiarmid Park outfit level with Inverness in fifth.
