Celtic have opened talks with Czech international Jiri Jarosik.
The 28-year-old Chelsea midfielder has become a target of the Bank of Scotland Premier League champions after a successful loan spell at Birmingham.
But his agent, Victor Kolar, has warned Jarosik is more likely to opt for an English or Russian club.
He told the Scottish Daily Mail: "I have recently had discussions in Prague with Celtic over Jarosik.
"But there is strong competition for the player from Russia and more than one English club interested. There are also offers from Germany and Spain.
"Jiri is just sitting back now, deciding his future, so we have not given anyone an answer.
"But he thinks it might be better to return to Russia, where he knows the language — or maybe stay in England."
