Sheffield United have completed the double signing of James Beattie and David Carney.

Striker Beattie has completed a £4million switch from Everton, while the Blades have paid £50,000 to Sydney FC for midfielder Carney.

Both players have put pen to paper today after passing medicals at Bramall Lane and were unveiled to fans ahead of their friendly clash with Nottingham Forest.
