Des Smyth, Christy O'Connor jnr, Eamon Darcy and Leslie Walker head a star-studded field as the Links Golfing Society reaches the half-way mark in the winter programme with the Guinness-sponsored outing to Co Louth on Thursday.
Smyth, the president of the Links, will be seeking a treble on one of his favourite courses having collected prizes at Royal Dublin and The Island. Noel Fox and Gary Cullen head the amateur field where GAA hurler of the year D J Carey will line-up alongside Gary Murphy.
