Fears that Brian O'Driscoll would miss tomorrow's Heineken Cup meeting with Gloucester have proved unfounded after the Leinster captain was named in the starting line-up this afternoon.
O'Driscoll sustained a minor injury in training during the week but has shrugged off the knock and will again partner Gordon D'Arcy in the Leinster midfield.
The situation regarding Chris Whitaker is a little more concerning for coach Michael Cheika, however, with the Australian affording the scrum-half every opportunity to prove his fitness ahead of tommorrow evening's match at Lansdowne Road.
Whitaker is set to make his European Cup debut in the absence of Guy Easterby but is struggling to overcome the shoulder injury that kept him out of Leinster's last two Celtic League outings. Should Whitaker fail to make it, Cillian Willis will start.
It's a similar story for Cameron Jowitt, also suffering a shoulder injury, with Stephen Keogh on standby to take his place in the side.
Both Malcolm O'Kelly and Girvan Dempsey will make their 50th Heineken Cup appearances for Leinster.
