After a slow start to the new Magners League season Connacht have been boosted by the return of three key players ahead of Friday's meeting with Glasgow at the Sportsground.

Defeat to the Ospreys was followed by a 45-3 pounding at the hands of the Scarlets in Llanelli, so the return of flanker Johnny O'Connor, John Hearty and Robbie Morris from injury is fillip for coach Michael Bradley.

A win away against Newport-Gwent Dragons was an encouraging start to the new campaign for the Warriors but since then they too have lost the Ospreys at Firhill.

The importance of the game is not lost on Connacht captain John Muldoon.

"It is a massive match and one we must win," said Muldoon today. "We were very disappointed with our performance away to the Scarlets and we want to correct that.

"We are now in our own backyard and we want to show our fans what we can do.

"Glasgow are a very good side, they have 15 or 16 internationals in their squad, but this is one we need to win and with the crowd behind us we can do that."

Kick-off at the Sportsground is 6.30pm.
