A dramatic injury-time try by Gorey centre Liam Redmond, and a pressure conversion by outhalf Linden Jones, ensured that this quarter-final ended on level terms at Greystones yesterday.

The Wexford side had stormed into a 10-0 lead after just 10 minutes, Redmond and skipper Denis Tompkins crossing for tries. Temple fought back and it was their outstanding number eight, Darragh Ffrench, who crossed for a brace of tries. Further scores by Gorey's Tompkins and Mount Temple's Liam Kelly and Joe Fitzachary set the scene for a dramatic finish.
