On the move?

In recent weeks we've noted that the MidasSoccer website's transfer tittle-tattle section is proving very nearly as reliable as our own. Which isn't "very", to be honest. For example, they exclusively revealed that Manchester United had signed six-foot, five-inch Australian striker Robbie Pascoe from Melbourne Knights, despite the fact that Melbourne insisted no player of that name appeared on their books.

Anyway, we're not too sure about their latest exclusive either - they reckon Leicester City have found a replacement for Stanley Collymore and he's none other than Pierre Van Hooijdonk, currently plying his trade at Benfica. "Frying pan" and "fire" come to mind. Elsewhere, the Absolute FC website tells us that Damien Duff is an £8 million target for Everton, Newcastle and Chelsea, which means he'll probably join Aston Villa for £3.7 million.
