Schools Rugby Leinster Junior Cup: Belvedere 45 St Andrews 0For Clontarf supporters who have found the events of the past fortnight harrowing, a trip to Castle Avenue may have provided some respite yesterday with the display of promising Belvedere outhalf Eoin O'Malley, who showed enough flashes of brilliance to suggest they will take some stopping.

Already 12-0 up inside the first five minutes with tries from Dara Dennigan and Simon Breen, the rest was all about O'Malley.

He set up tries for John Torsney and John McDevitt, and with his conversions, Belvedere were 24-0 up at half-time.

The second half continued in the same vein with Conor Colclough, John Slattery and replacement centre Eoghan Delany all crossing the line for the victors.
