Boxing/Junior Multi-Nations Finals:Irish fighters are returning home with four gold medals and one silver from yesterday's Danas Pozniakis Junior Multi-Nations finals in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Flyweight John Joe Nevin, who started the gold rush with a 29-25 victory over Lithuanian Eile Petraus, also lifted the boxer-of- the-tournament award.

Bantamweight Mark McCullough (Cairn Lodge club, Belfast) also finished on top of the podium following a convincing 27-13 victory over Slovakian Tomas Varion. Lightweight Anthony Cacace (Oliver Plunketts) and welterweight Michael Collins (Darndale, Dublin) claimed gold with Cacace beating Ian Mansry of France 31-11 and Collins defeating Bulgarian Vitalij Kuzmiriuk 20-25.

Clonmel heavyweight Con Sheehan landed silver after being edged out 22-20 by Italian Rosane Francesco. The Irish squad were under team manager Bernard Dunne, coaches Jim Moore and Martin Fennessey, Eugene Duffy (R&J) and physio Lorcan Galvin.
