Leinster SFC First round/ Moorefield 0-12 St Patrick's (Wicklow) 0-8: Moorefield corner forward Patrick Murray scored five points to help put his side into the second round of the Leinster championship at the expense of St Patrick's at Aughrim yesterday.

St Patrick's led by 0-6 to 0-4 at the break but the Kildare champions began to dominate midfield in the second half and seven minutes after the break they led by 0-7 to 0-6. They then began to pull away and in the end had a four-point victory margin.
