Soccer: Jose Mourinho claimed there is one rule for Chelsea and one for the rest of football after his team slumped to a rare English Premiership defeat.

Fulham beat the champions 1-0 at Craven Cottage yesterday, but Mourinho was fuming because referee Mike Dean appeared to award his team an equaliser and then rule it out for handball.

Didier Drogba clearly touched the ball with his hand in the build-up, but Mourinho thought Dean changed his mind under pressure from Fulham players.

"There are 19 managers and clubs plus one," Mourinho said. "There are not 20 in the same table. I cannot speak about the referee. I have to control myself.

"I've seen it on TV and I know it's a handball, but the referee didn't see and gave a goal, and the linesman didn't see and also gave a goal.

"After that they couldn't resist the pressure of Fulham players, and that's a big problem."

Dean claimed linesman Paul Norman had alerted him by pressing the buzzer which helps officials stay in contact.

Norman did not raise his flag because the referee was closer to the incident and he thought he may have seen Drogba handle the ball.

Mourinho's sense of injustice is fuelled because Chelsea have been charged with failing to control their players when they protested to the referee during a game against West Brom.

The Chelsea boss said: "In similar situations there's one measure for Chelsea and another measure for other teams. If it's a Chelsea player, the Chelsea manager or Chelsea football club, there's no doubt about it.

"At West Brom I have the final proof about that. Bryan Robson is Bryan Robson and Jose Mourinho is Jose Mourinho. We are not the same."

Luis Boa Morte scored the only goal of the game in the 17th minute to hand Chelsea their third defeat of the league season.

Fulham fans invaded the pitch after the final whistle, sparking scenes of ugly confrontation with Chelsea supporters who also broke through the barricades.
