Montpellier say Giroud has signed for Arsenal
Montpellier president Louis Nicollin has claimed Arsenal have completed the signing of France forward Olivier Giroud. Giroud is thought to command a transfer fee in the region of €16 million. The 25-year-old scored 25 goals to help Montpellier win the Ligue 1 title last season, igniting the interest of several top clubs.
