ULSTER SHC SECOND ROUND: London 2-13 Tyrone 1-6: LONDON BROUGHT Tyrone's Ulster hurling championship adventure to an end at Healy Park, Omagh, yesterday, handing out a 10 points drubbing.

London will make another trip across the Irish Sea next weekend to take on Armagh in the quarter-final, and on the evidence of this display, manager Mick O'Dea will be confident his side can avenge a National League defeat earlier this season.

Once Stephen Malone grabbed the first goal in the 18th minute, there was no looking back. Goals from Malone and Kevin McMullan helped London to a 2-6 to 0-3 interval lead, with Martin Finn and skipper Fergus McMahon hitting the pick of their points.

London continued to press home the advantage after the break, although Tyrone did enjoy a bright spell which yielded excellent points from Conor Gallagher and Cormac McHugh.
