LEINSTER had their second win in the under-20 Interprovincial Championship when they defeated Connacht at the Galway Sports Ground on Saturday. The visitors started well and with four penalties from out-half Emmet Farrell and tries by Richard Ormond and Terry O'Beirne, they led 22-0 lead at the interval.
Connacht improved in the second halt, notably when full-back Tom Stuart Trainor ran in to score after a 50-yard run but two tries in a two-minute spell from Damien Ward and Ormond left Leinster well in command.
