Leinster find their A game

 

Friendly match/Leinster A - 44 Irish Under-21s - 14: Leinster A ran the show up front at Stradbrook when they ran in eight tries in this non-competitive fixture. They played at a high tempo throughout with their pack bossing the play.

The Leinster backrow was outstanding, with a fine drive from Dermot Laffan setting up their opening score on 12 minutes. This created an overlap on the left and David McAllister's perfectly weighted pass sent Stephen Grissing over in the corner.

From their Leinster never looked back, with further tries from Niall Ronan (3), Grissing (2), Alex Dunlop and Ross McCarron putting them into a 44-0 lead early in the second half.
