GOLF: How do you follow Muirfield? Well, the task is left to Hilversumsche, a lay-out that bears many of the characteristics of a links course, where this week's TNT Dutch Open - with a prize fund of €1.8 million - takes place, and it would seem that there is some decent value on offer for punters.

Not surprisingly, Retief Goosen, the highest ranked player in the field, is the 7 to 1 favourite, a point ahead of in-form Padraig Harrington - but better value can be found down the list, and particularly with Australia's Stephen Leaney.

Leaney actually won the Dutch Open over this course in 1998 and appears to be coming into some form to justify a little wager. He was tied-sixth in the Scottish Open two weeks ago and was going well in the British Open until blown away in the worst of the weather on Saturday, He represents good each-way value at 50 to 1.
