All-Ireland Club JHC Final Thomastown 2-17 Fullen Gaels 2-14:Thomastown confirmed their favourites' tag when claiming a three-point victory at Croke Park yesterday afternoon.
The opening goal arrived in the 19th minute when Darren Burke flicked to the net after Jonjo Farrell’s shot had been parried by Tom Goulding but Gaels hit back with Robbie Power firing home within a minute. Power did his utmost to rescue his side’s chances but his efforts proved in vain as late scores confirmed victory for the Kilkenny champions.
