Tony McCoy and Kieren Fallon received the top honours at the 12th Lesters Ceremony at the London Hilton last night to make it a clean sweep for the Irish.
McCoy was voted Jump Jockey of the Year while Fallon received the Flat Jockey of the Year award in a glittering ceremony which was sponsored for the first time by attheraces and Channel 4.
The award, voted for by members of The Jockeys Association, topped off a memorable year for McCoy, who recently broke Gordon Richards' all-time winners record.
For Fallon it was the culmination of campaign that saw him win back his champion jockey title after an injury lay-off.
