The Republic of Ireland under-15s recorded their second victory over Denmark yesterday, with David Cassidy grabbing the winner with five minutes to go at the AUL Complex.

The home side went in front after six minutes when Kevin O'Connor ran on to a through-ball before dispatching his shot past Jesper Hansen. Midway through the half Denmark drew level when Rune Ramussen Lind combined with Kasper Lorentzen before curling a shot past Paul Murphy in the Irish goal. Ireland dominated the second period and in the 75th minute Cassidy, a half-time substitute for Barry Thornton, scored the winner when he shot past Hansen after the goalkeeper had parried his initial strike.
