Under-21 Six Nations France - 20 Ireland - 20: Ireland crossed for three tries but were matched in every department by France in Limoges last night.
Despite coming from behind to lead 20-15, thanks to a Glen Telford try, converted by outhalf Garrett Steenson, they were unable to fend off a late rally. Steenson also kicked a penalty but a try from Julien Saubade, 10 minutes from time, levelled the contest. Their outhalf Regis Lespinas then missed the difficult conversion.
Tommy Bowe and Richie Lane touched down in the first half to leave Ireland leading 10-8.
