Finland's Mikko Ilonen and Australian Andrew Tampion share the lead at the end of the second day of the weather-interrupted Enjoy Jakarta Astro Indonesia Open.

Ilonen, who trailed overnight leader Chawalit Plaphol by one stroke after an opening  66, was three under with one hole to play in his second round when darkness brought play to an end at Damai Indah Golf and Country Club.

A total of 32 players have still to complete their rounds after lightning halted play for one hour and 37 minutes in the afternoon.

They will return at 6.50am local time tomorrow to resume at the Pantai Indah Kapuk course before the cut, projected to fall at two over par, is made.

European Tour rookie Tampion posted the early lead after a five-under-par 66 in the morning but he was later joined by Ilonen.

The pair have a three-stroke advantage over Koreans Nam Young-woo and Suk Jong Yul, Thailand's Chapchai Nirat and Gaurav Ghei of India.

Thailand's Chawalit Plaphol, who held the overnight lead after carding a bogey-free six-under-par 65, failed to maintain his consistency and shot a three-over 74 to drop to three under and a share of 10th spot.
