Cycling:Fermoy CC rider Michael Hennessy came out best in yesterday's Rás Luimní in Fedamore, Limerick, attacking with approximately 10km remaining and hitting the line ahead of Martin O'Loughlin (Dan Morrissey Carrick Wheelers) and Aidan Crowley (Myhome.ie/ Dunboyne CC), writes Shane Stokes.
Forty-three riders braved wintery conditions to line out for the 100km event, with the main prize-getters going clear of the rest in the first third of the race and fighting it out for the honours between them.
