Padraig Harrington has moved up one place to seventh in the latest world rankings even though the Dubliner was not playing at the weekend.
Harrington is the highest ranking European in the world while Vijay Singh's victory in the US Tour-opening Mercedes-Benz Championship in Hawaii has lifted the Fijian up two places to fifth.
Singh was the last player to dislodge Tiger Woods from the number one spot, but fell from second to seventh last year.
Justin Rose is back just ahead of Bradley Dredge at 50th, but it is the Welshman who has the invitation to the Masters at Augusta in April because December 31 was the cut-off point.
