Schools Leinster Junior Cup Quarter-Final/Gonzaga College 16 Presentation, Bray 3: An early try by Gonzaga winger David Leyden put the Ranelagh school into a lead they held throughout this quarter-final replay at Stradbrook yesterday.

Presentation Bray showed huge flair but were unable to break down the Gonzaga defence.

Gonzaga's early try came about after their wily scrumhalf Alex Byrne released centres Kevin Ryan and Godfrey Greene to give the scoring pass to Leyden.

Presentation Bray's Fergal Devlin brought things closer with a fine penalty from far out but this was soon answered by an easy penalty from Greene after a fine run by hooker Nick Rutledge.
