Aoife Ni Mhuiri, Kerry's team physio, can be forgiven for taking a passing interest in how the opposition are faring on Sunday. Ni Mhuiri is a native of Spiddal in Galway, but after becoming a lecturer at IT Tralee some years back she became involved with the Kerry senior team. She has now spent the last three years working with the players in Kerry as well as Tralee's successful Sigerson Cup teams. Her back-up on Sunday will be John Kelly, former chairman of the East Kerry Board and team masseur since 1997, and Dr Dave Geaney, a former All-Ireland medal winner (1959) and trainer of the Castleisland Desmonds senior team.
