GMIT 0-15 WIT 0-5GMIT scored a comprehensive Sigerson Cup victory at Woodmount yesterday. The Galway college led from start to finish and all six of their forwards had scored by the 22nd minute.
The Galway side led by 0-9 to 0-2 at half-time and extended their lead by three points within five minutes of the restart, with points from Ronan McNamara, Alan O'Donovan and Cormac Bane.
Declan Crushell, Richard Feeney, Alan Burke and Dermot Earley of the GMIT defence played well enough to prevent any late challenge from WIT and their impressive forwards Alan Mulhall and Owen McGrath.
