Passing up on the delights of RTE's Up for the Match on Saturday night (Apologies Mary for forsaking you), September Road made for Dublin's Olympia Theatre for a bit of thirtysomething-plus rock 'n' roll/country and an evening with Texan Steve Earle. The well-known Galway-phile (check out Galway Girl on his latest album) provided cheer for us Gaels by wearing a Galway jersey for the night. It's unknown the publicity Tommy Varden catering equipment gets these days . . .
