FAI Cup Second round/ Fanad United 1 St John Bosco 0:Fanad United struck a last-gasp winner to get the better of St John Bosco's in this second round clash at Triagh a Locha yesterday.

The only goal of the game came two minutes into injury time when Paddy McGrenaghan scored from the penalty spot following a foul on Stephen O'Donnell by Bosco's goalkeeper, Robert Costello.

Earlier Costello had saved from Christy Conaghan and watched as Eamonn Sheridan blasted over from a good scoring position.

St John Bosco did enjoy some decent periods in the game. Their best chance of scoring fell to midfielder Damien Dunne whose long-range effort midway through the second half went just wide of the post.
