Ardscoil Rís, Limerick 2-10 Our Lady's Templemore 1-9:KEVIN DOWNES scored two crucial goals to help Ardscoil Rís to victory at Golden yesterday.
An early goal from a penalty from Dan McCormcack got Our Lady’s got off to a great start, but Downes’ first goal in the 31st minute helped the Limerick side lead 1-6 to 1-3 at the interval.
Ardscoil led by four points by the end of the third quarter but Our Lady’s came back and Liam McGrath’s sweet point in the 60th minute left them just a point adrift before Downes’ late second goal secured the win.
