Munster senior colleges semi-finals / St Flannan's, Ennis 0-15
Doon CBS 0-11:
An impressive St Flannan's side held off a late Doon rally to progress to the final, at Dolla yesterday.

St Flannan's fought hard in the closing 10 minutes as the Limerick men, featuring in their second successive semi-final, landed three unanswered points to bring the sides level with just four minutes remaining.

Doon led by 0-6 to 0-5 at the break, thanks to four frees from Michael Fitzgerald and points from corner-forwards Tommy O'Donoghue and Ciarán Ryan. In the opening minutes the St Flannan's goalkeeper, Seán Murphy, gave away a penalty, retaliating after clearing his lines. Luckily for St Flannan's, Fitzgerald's effort was deflected over the bar.

After a nervy start, the Clare side's class began to shine through with Shane O'Brien and James McInerney providing the platform for a number of attacks. They were restricted, however, to picking off points from frees with Kenneth Kennedy registering the St Flannan's first-half tally from frees.
