UL Bohemians ... 19 UCD ... 23: UCD moved out of the danger zone with this narrow victory over UL Bohemians at Thomond Park yesterday. The accurate boot of the students outhalf Eoghan Hickey was a determining factor in a game that saw UL Bohemians lose their fourth successive match and yet pick up their fourth bonus point of the campaign for losing by less than seven points.
Hickey landed six penalties for UCD whose crucial try by flanker David Blaney just before half-time enabled them to turn over leading 17-6. UL Bohemian got to within a point when Ian Costelloe dropped the goal before Hickey struck again to see UCD home.
