Dr Crokes of Killarney put in a storming second-half display to send wasteful West Kerry crashing out of this year's senior county championship in deplorable conditions at Austin Stack Park Tralee yesterday. West Kerry looked like making it an all west final, when they led 1-5 to 0-5 at half-time.

West Kerry struck for a vital goal in the first half when Sean Geaney and Emmett Kennedy combined to set up Aidan O'Connor who punched to the Crokes net, while In the 12th minute of the second half came a Crokes goal of sheer brilliance that involved 14 passes before Colm Cooper found Connie Murphy in front of goal and he blasted to the net.
