Maureen Morrissey had a good week down at the Gold Coast Golf club recently. The 45 handicapper was victorious in a 10 hole competition, shooting 20 points. And then in an 18 hole competition she claimed fourth spot, although she was some way behind the winner, Helena Fitzgerald (24) who won with 34 points. Fitzgerald was a runaway winner of the competition, finishing five points ahead of second placed Joan Mansfield (17), who shot 29, with Ann McGrath (28) on 28 points back in third place.
