National Football League/Cavan 1-13 Wicklow 1-12: Wicklow saw a five-point lead vanish in the last quarter of the match and had to swallow the bitter pill of another one-point defeat.

Jason 0'Reilly scored the goal that was to put Cavan in front with seven minutes to go and Wicklow failed to close the gap in Aughrim.

Cavan dominated the first 27 minutes of this game and were leading by 0-7 to 0-1 at that stage. But a goal by Wayne O'Gorman in the 28th minutes left the home side leading by 1-6 to 0-8 at half-time.
