Naas ... 0-8 Coill Dubh ... 0-8Naas were forced to fight a rearguard action for much of the game to earn a second chance to retain their Kildare title yesterday at Newbridge.

With Tom Carew in fine form Coill Dubh led by 0-6 to 0-3 at half-time. Naas eventually got into the game and three points by Damien Scallan helped bring the sides level and in fact Coill Dubh needed another Carew score minutes before the end to earn a replay.
