Dublin's leading point scorer in the All-Ireland series, Tomas McGrane, was in fine form for St Vincent's in the second semi-final but champions Faughs fought back to earn a replay next Saturday in Parnell Park (5.0).

McGrane sent over two fine sideline cuts as Vincent's went into the break 0-7 to 1-3 ahead. The Faughs goal came from centre forward Seamus Morkham when he scrambled the ball over the line.

The second-half was a close affair with the scores level on two occasions. Vincent's then brought on Tomas Quinn in the forward line and his contribution saw the Northside outfit edge ahead once more. Bt Faughs hit the equalising score with four minutes remaining with Shay Boland pointing from the right hand side.
