Tyrone - 3-11 Monaghan - 0-5After Monaghan were reduced to 13 players in the second half, the floodgates opened for Tyrone at Enniskillen.

With the departure of centre half back Shane Mulligan in the 19th minute of the second half, a goal apiece from substitute Damien McDermott and Patrick Early helped Tyrone to a facile victory.

At the end of a scrappy first half, the teams were level at 0-3 each, but the sending off of Monaghan scorer Paul Meegan in the 20th minute deprived them of one of their main threats.

In the second half, Tyrone built up a sizable lead, although Monaghan battled on courageously.
