Uniforms to go the distance

The trouble with generic uniforms is that the quality doesn’t always withstand the rough and tumble of the school yard. However, F&F at Tesco claims its range of uniforms for children aged 4 to 16 will go the distance. Features include reinforced knees and sealed hems on trousers, easy-open shirt cuffs, non-iron shirts, jumpers that stay bright and bobble-free due to “a new technology”, shower-resistant jackets, scuff-resistant shoes, trousers and pinafores that are Teflon-coated to keep them stain-resistant, comfort insoles in shoes, and reflective trims on coats to keep kids visible on dark winter evenings. Prices start from €3.25. See f-f.com
