Future is bright for facilities management as awards shortlist is announced

The shortlist has just been announced for the 2018 FM Awards with a record-breaking number of companies entering this year.

This event is the benchmark for excellence within the facilities management community. With new buildings being erected and more facilities being upgraded, it is an area of Irish business that is becoming of increasing importance. The awards offer businesses an opportunity to come together, collaborate and showcase their work.

Judging Coordinator Pat Gaughan, managing director at Advanced Workplace Solutions will moderate an independent panel of judges. The shortlisted individuals and organisations are a testament to the strength and depth of the FM industry here in Ireland. We wish all of them the very best of luck," says Gaughan.

Each year the FM Awards attract some of the biggest companies in the industry; CBRE, Croke Park, AIB, BAM Facilities Management Ireland, Neylons Facility Management, Pfizer Little Island among many others will be in attendance.

With a wide variety of categories covering all aspects of the industry there was something to facilitate everyone. Innovation in Technology & Systems was one of the most popular categories this year with a huge range of companies entering their newest projects focusing on new technologies in their field.  "Winters Property have partnered with a number of providers to ensure that we can provide our clients with best real-time reporting and monitoring.
