Madam, - It is not often that a letter is written to praise the Irish Government, but this is one such letter. With World Aids Day upon us, I think it should be recognised that the Irish Government has put its money where its mouth is with regards to the pandemic.
On a recent trip to Mozambique, I saw first hand the difference that Irish money is making to people infected and affected by HIV and Aids. On World Aids Day, and indeed every other day, Irish citizens should be proud of the difference they are making in the developing world. - Yours, etc.,
