Sir, – Brendan McCoy writes (September 27th) that the new name of the Irish Stock Exchange (Euronext Dublin) is redolent of a city-based bargain basement clothing retailer.
There is, however, quite a difference in that items purchased in the former may rise or fall in value, whereas items purchased in the latter will, I fear, only fall in value. – Yours, etc,
