Madam, - While reading Bryan McGuire's letter of December 19th saying that he was afraid to walk in rural Ireland, I just knew I would see a good old Dublin address at the end of it. Does he actually know a single farmer?
I have walked the whole Wicklow Way three times. I also know quite a few farmers. I can only say that I would feel a lot more nervous in Dublin after chucking-out time than I would walking around the garden of Ireland among such friendly, hard-working people. - Yours, etc,
