Madam, - John Neligan (June 13th) implies that unless a country is a "brutal dictatorship that supports global terrorism" they are not in danger from the USA.

This wishful thinking obviously does not extend to Venezuela.

Well yes, the country's leader Hugo Chavez has spoken out against the Bush administration but he has also made the extraordinary promise to offer cut-rate heating oil for needy families in Europe and America.
