Sir, - Last Tuesday 750 Motorola employees in Dublin learned that they would lose their jobs. Managers at Motorola have the unenviable task of counselling hundreds of employees through this traumatic time before they plan their own futures in a new organisation. They will face many emotional hurdles. They will have to adapt to new cultures, adopt new work practices and start from scratch building new relationships.
