Madam, - May I expand on Marie Kirwan's comments on the quality of modern apartments (November 15th)? Twice in the past year foreign visitors have commented to me on the tremendous amount of social housing which is being built across the country.
They assume the drably uniform new estates consist of council houses. - Yours, etc.,
