Madam, - Why can TDs see no further than the end of their cue-cards? They give speeches throughout their political lives and engage in "fiery" debates each day in the Dáil, yet they can hardly speak a word without their eyes glued to the speech in their hand in front of them.
How do they expect to convince us if they don't even know what they are saying themselves? It may be too much to ask them to write their own speeches, but could they at least pretend they know what they're saying? - Yours, etc,
